4-Axis Motion Control IC
Introduction
NOVA Electronics – 4-Axis Motion Control IC
The MCX314A is a 4-axis motion control IC that integrates pulse input interfaces for four servo or stepper motors within a single chip, providing precise position, speed, and interpolation motion control capabilities. Each axis can be operated independently, or configured for linear, circular, or unit interpolation. Users may freely select any two or three axes among the four to perform coordinated interpolation control.
Key Features:
- 32-bit circular / linear interpolation
- Smooth S-curve / trapezoidal acceleration and deceleration motion
- Built-in digital input noise filter
- Maximum pulse output frequency: 4 Mpps
- Package: 144-pin LQFP
- Power supply voltage: +5 V
