Built on the efficient, flexible, and user-friendly CRA series, the DOBOT SafeSkin enables high-efficiency and safe human–robot collaboration.
Safety is the foundation of effective human–robot cooperation. A safety mechanism that ensures efficiency without compromising protection represents the ideal collaboration mode. SafeSkin enables contactless sensing and collision avoidance, allowing the robot to operate at speeds up to 1 m/s, which is four times faster than the international standard, while maintaining proactive collision prevention. This achieves significant improvements in both safety and productivity.
Product Features:
- Active Collision Avoidance
- Proximity Stop Mode: Detects objects within 15 cm in front of the robot, reacts within 0.01 s, and stops completely within 0.1 s. Once the object leaves, the robot automatically resumes operation.
- Automatic Evasion Mode: The robot autonomously plans an avoidance path to smoothly continue production tasks while maintaining safety and efficiency. (This feature should be activated under professional guidance.)
- Full Protection with Wearable Design
Made of silicone material for enhanced impact absorption. The 360° wraparound design provides all-round protection and is unaffected by fabrics, gloves, or plastic covers, ensuring reliable performance in various environments.
